Jingle Bells is written with Melody-Plus voicing.
You may combine the melody with one, two, or three of the other parts.
The original melody is written in Part III. Printed versions are
available for purchase as individual parts or as a full score which contains
all four parts. When purchasing the individual parts, you should
purchase Part III plus any of the other parts you want to sing.
This arrangement was intentionally written as simply as
possible so it could be taught in one rehearsal. The parts are all
melodies with very narrow ranges. It can be performed with elementary
students through adults. The parts may be taught by rote, if you
don't have the funds to buy the scores. Just buy one copy of the
full score to obtain the piano accompaniment. It is a great piece
to use in sing-a-longs. Teach the parts by rote to different groups
and then combine them. It is a fun piece. Enjoy it!
