Poor Man Laz'rus

(click voicing to view and hear online)

Two Parts    Three Parts

Part I of this African-American Spiritual is written to be sung by both or either male and female trebles.  Part II (also written in the treble clef) is limited to the comfortable singing area of A-a (above and below middle C) which makes it appropriate for CI.  Part III in the three-part arrangement is written in the bass clef to be sung by CII/B.

Rated easy, the piece has a very lively piano accompaniment; however, it may be sung acappella, if desirable.

Consult the two-part variable voicing chart and the three-part variable voicing chart to see the other voicing options that are available.
