Pray Tell Me, Oh, Please Tell Me

Two Parts     Three Parts

Las Mañanitas is a secular, multi-cultural work set with a Spanish and an English text. Pray Tell Me, Oh, Please Tell Me is the same music set to a Chrsitmas text.

Both pieces are suitable for early adolescent mixed or all-boys groups (S/Treb/B, Treb/CI).  Part I may be sung by girl or boy trebles, and CII/B (sung 8va down).  Part II should be sung at actual pitch by boy trebles and/or CI.

Check the two-part variable voicing chart or the three-part variable voice chart to see the various voicings with which these pieces may be used

1.  Click the "play" icon and you will hear the piece played electronically, and as it plays, the cursor will lead your vision through the piece.

2.  Click the "Hear Choir Audio" link (upper right hand corner) to hear a choral ensemble sing the piece.  Use the Sibelius "page" icon to move the pages of the engraved copy manually as you listen.  Do not click the "play" icon while the ensemble is singing or you will hear both renditions simultaneously.

The choral rendition is the two-part setting with the text, Pray Tell Me, Oh, Please Tell Me,
