HOW TO USE THIS PIECE

Agnus Dei

(Click the title to view and hear online)

This octavo is suitable for early adolescent groups with changing voices (SSCB or SACB) or for groups without changing voices who have more women than men (SSAB). There are two sets of texts; one in Latin and one in English. The melodic contrapuntal voice parts provide a suitable way to teach four-part music to young adolescent singers. Providing two voice parts makes it easier for boys in the first phase of change (cambiata) and the second phase of change (adolescent baritone) to find a part that best suits their voices.

Access the Four-part Variable Voicing Chart to ascertain the different voicings that are available to various age groups.
