This well-known German folk song includes the German text which consists of 12 easy words.  Further, there is an eight measure introduction which is written in four-parts (madrigal style).  The remainder is a round.  The point that needs to be made here is this:  What a great piece to experience the German language and four-part singing all in one easy piece!!  Singing four-parts in German will give your group a terrific morale boost.  They will be singing the same type music as the high-schoolers.  There is still another great advantage to this piece because it is a great crowd pleaser.  By using hand-held percussion instruments in lieu of clapping on the letters of the word "BINGO" adds an excitement to the piece that grabs the listeners' attention.  This is a standard that you will use over and over.

Access the four-part variable voicing charts to view the options that are available to sing the piece with different age groups.

1.  Click the "play" icon and you will hear the piece played electronically, and as it plays, the cursor will lead your vision through the piece.  Read the text as you listen to the music.

OR

 2.  Click the "Hear Choir Audio" link (upper right hand corner) to hear a choral ensemble sing the piece.  Use the Sibelius "page" icon to move the pages of the engraved copy manually as you listen.  Do not click the "play" icon while the ensemble is singing or you will hear both renditions simultaneously.
