This is a secular song with a sacred sense.
The lyrics are not tied to religion directly except that they carry a
message of respecting one's self and caring for others. It is
intended for all-male groups, but it may be sung by mixed groups as
well. It is homophonic and easy. A small challenge for some
early adolescent boys will be the melodic chromaticism, but it will be
no challenge for those with singing experience. Excellent for
worship or concert.
