This traditional American folk melody has been set and arranged with two different sets of lyrics; one set with a Christmas message (Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head) and the other a less well-known general spiritual (Gentle Jesus).  The piece has been conceived in a homophonic style to be sung acappella (a rehearsal only reduction is present).
