This is primarily a two-part arrangement (there are a few measures in which one or two notes of the lower part divides into three-parts). The accompaniment calls for four-hands at the piano, and it is quite convincing as it musically imitates a train. The voices also add to the presentation by creatively providing vocalized "train" sounds. The voice parts are easy, yet quite effective. This up-tempo rendition lives up to that which one expects from a well-loved spiritual.
