This masterwork has been adapted for singing groups containing changing voices. With the four-part arrangements an attempt has been made to maintain the authenticity of the work with only enough changes to conform to the range and tessitura limitations of the early adolescent singer. There are optional notes in Part IV for boys to sing lower and higher notes when they are not in their comfortable singing range. This piece is on the Georgia and Texas state festival list. It is one of Cambiata Press' most popular arrangements.
