Glory to God In

Two
Parts
Three Parts
This is one of the great
masterworks by Pergolesi that has been set to a driving rock beat. Part I is written to
be sung by both or either male and female trebles. Part II
(also written in the treble clef) is limited to the comfortable singing area
of A-A (above and below middle C) which makes it appropriate for cambiatas
(boys in the first phase of change). Part III in the three-part
arrangement is written in the bass clef to be sung by adolescent baritones
and changed voices. Consult the
two-part variable voicing chart
and the
three-part variable
voicing chart
to see the other voicing options that are
available.
