This masterwork, from Mendelssohn's oratorio Elijah, has been adapted to fit choirs with changing voices. The authenticity of the work has been maintained with only enough changes to conform to the range limitations of early adolescent voices.

Although challenging, it is within the musical abilities of early adolescent singers. It is the melodic character of the individual lines that makes the parts musically accessible and attainable.
