Shady Grove

 

This traditional Appalachian folk song has been arranged early adolscent choirs in three-part voicing (SSA, SAC, SATreb, or STrebC). It is particularly accessible to 6th grade groups, absent changing baritones. 

The only harmony is a two-part ostinato, used to accompany the unison sections.
