This masterwork madrigal has been adapted for
singing groups containing changing voices. With the four-part arrangements an
attempt has been made to maintain the authenticity of the work with only enough
changes to conform to the range and tessitura limitations of the early
adolescent singer. The upper three parts may be sung alone without Part IV, yet
the spirit of the original has been maintained. It also works well with the
adult groups when sung SSA or SSAB
