To Friendship - Sing On!

Three-part
Four-part
The lyrics for
this piece are about "friendship,"a subject that is very important to early
adolescents. It is set in a simulated rock style of the 1970's which makes it
very appealing to this age group of singers. The three top parts are written in
the treble clef and may be sung with all females (SSA) or with a treble mixed
group (SSC). There is an optional fourth part present, which is written in the
bass clef to be sung by adolescent baritones (SSA(B) or SSC(B). However, if
there are no baritones in the group, it may be omitted completely. The piece has
a lot of energy so it is appreciated by both the choir and audience.
