This exuberant piece for
worship services, choral festivals, and concerts was arranged
specifically for all-male adolescent groups, but it may be sung by mixed
groups of all ages as well. It has secular lyrics with a sacred sense.
There is no direct reference to God, but the message about life's
journey is such that it is perfectly at home in a worship service.
It is accompanied by a brass choir with three trumpets and two trombones
and piano or organ (the brass parts are extracted and published in
the octavo).
