This original composition by Margaret McKinney Baker is a great Christmas selection.  With it's unique barbershop harmonic structure and style, it will be a favorite of the students.   The rhythmic, arpeggiated piano accompaniment further enhances the popularity of this piece.  The lyrics describe the angels announcement of the birth of the Christ-child and the shepherds coming to see him lying in a manger.
