Wondrous Love

(click title to view and hear online)

Excellent literature for 6th grade.

Part I -- male and/or female treble.

Part II -- male treble/cambiata I.

If adolescent baritones are present, they may find success singing Part I, 8va lower.

This early American work is one of the the best known of the many tunes included in The Sacred Harp.  Its haunting modal melody will leave the singers with an earworm. (An ear worm is a tune that replays over and over in your head).

Consult the two-part variable voicing chart to see the other voicing options that are available.
