THE ARRANGEMENTS IN THIS CHORAL SERIES ARE PUBLISHED POSTHUMOUSLY IN HONOR OF A MAN WHO WAS DEDICATED TO A CAUSE. DR. IRVIN COOPER SPENT ALMOST AN ENTIRE LIFETIME IN RESEARCH AND WRITING MUSIC LITERATURE SO YOUNG PEOPLE OVER ALL THE WORLD COULD CONTINUE TO SING THROUGH VOCAL MUTATION. THE WELL-KNOWN "CAMBIATA CONCEPT," WHICH HE ORIGINATED AND DEVELOPED, PROMOTED THE BASIC TENET THAT "MUSIC SHOULD BE WRITTEN TO FIT THE VOICE INSTEAD OF ATTEMPTING TO MAKE THE VOICE FIT THE MUSIC."
