Teacher, Help Me

Three Parts                   Four Parts

This work exemplifies melody-plus composition style.  There are four parts, each of which has its own text.  Each part is presented alone and then combined in duets and finally all four parts together.

The composer's vivacious musical style seizes on students' interest in Friday night football games.   If you listen closely, you might hear a bit of Mozart imbedded in the accompaniment.

Go to the Three/Four-part Variable Chart (Part IV is optional) to review how it may be sung with different ages and voicings.
