MAN'S MUSIC

                   CHORAL SERIES

These are choral arrangements of folk music (both composed and oral tradition, sacred and secular) from around the world written for singing organizations containing changing voices and for adult choirs with more women than men.  These voicings have two or three parts for woman and only one part for men, which is a nice compromise voicing for both tenors and basses.  The adult voicings are designated SA(B), SAB, SSA(B) and SSAB.

PLEASE NOTE:

The comfortable singing tessitura for some parts in these pieces may be too low for adolescent male-treble and female-treble voices.  This occurs primarily when a part has been deemed singable by both trebles and cambiatas.  Many of the parts recommended for these two voices lie within a suitable range of both, however it is advisable to check the individual compositions when you view them online before purchasing them.  This applies to the voicings marked with an asterisk.
